Juan Bautista Alvarado note : to Don Raymundo, [between 1830 and 1882].

Handwritten note with single sentence, signed by Alvarado, directing that one head of cattle be given to a Lieutenant Gutierrez every 15 days, probably as a meat ration. Paper also stamped in blue ink with the stamp of the Santa Barbara Mission archives ("Achivum Provinciae, Old Mission, Santa Barbara, Calif.").
